Why I love it:

1. It smells lovely. I've used a few products with murumuru butter and I've not always been a fan of the scent. This is masked well, which adds to the pleasure of use.

2. It doesn't leave a residue behind. If there's one thing I hate with styling creams or butters, it is that they tend to leave flakes behind. This is a pain point for anyone who goes through wash day at least once a week. This cream has been a godsend! I can moisturize and style my hair without any fear of what is to come after drying.

3. It keeps my hair soft all through the week. Yes, you heard that right. All through the week! Even though I suspect that repairing the bonds in my hair with #olaplexno8 moisture mask has contributed a lot to improving my hair texture, I have to give this cream credit for playing its role in maintaining my soft, bouncy, puffy hair.

4. It lasts! I used this to twist my hair three times before tossing the tub. I have full hair that falls around my shoulders when stretched. So, you can imagine that I tend to need a lot of product when caring for my hair. I did not expect this to go through three wash days, but it did. For this reason, I do think it is worth the $28.
