If you are here, you've laid eyes on the iconic Gucci Bloom perfumes but are unsure which to try first. I hate to disappoint you but Nettare di Fiori is my first Gucci Bloom perfume, so I can only share with you why I adore it and perhaps convince you to get it.
When it comes to beauty, I am surprisingly a mindful shopper. As much as I love Sephora, I only purchase beauty items from there three to four times a year. I move through the aisles, physical or not, and ask myself many many times if each item I am considering is worth taking up a spot in my quarterly purchase.
I came across #nettaredifiori on the fragrance shelves of one of Sephora's many Manhattan locations. It was indeed love at first sniff, and I shocked myself by immediately dropping a new bottle into my shopping basket.
After my initial surprise, common sense returned, prompting me to spray some of the perfume on my skin and walk around the store for a few minutes. Sniffing my wrist after my walk remained a mind-blowing experience for me, so that was my sign to get it.
It blends the original Gucci Bloom scent with a chypre floral with ginger and rose top notes, jasmine, rangoon creeper and tuberose for middle notes, and a base of patchouli, musks and osmanthus.
I’ve heard talk that a few of the Gucci Bloom fragrances don’t last all day. This has become a frequent wear for me and I find that it lasts pretty well and tapers off near the end of the day. It does not disappear completely.
If you are in the market for a Gucci Bloom fragrance, the Nettare di Fiori is a yes from me and one that I recommend.
